I have not even lived in McMinn County in almost 20 years, but one of my fondest memories was visiting with Gail whenever we crossed paths. Very dear lady, gone much too soon! I know I will see her again when we are living in Heaven with our Savior!

My heart was broken at the news of Gail's passing. I have known her since high school. She never changed in all these years. She was still just as kind, friendly and loving as always. She always took time to talk no matter where you saw her. I will miss, so much those visits. Gail will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was one of those special people you meet once in a life time, and will hold in your heart forever. May God bless and comfort her family as only he can. I always loved going to the Nunley's farm. There were kids everywhere and lots of things to get into. My mom called Basil and Sparkey the mayors of Riceville. Gail was always smiling and kind. I actually enjoyed our talks at Ingle's in later years. She was helping an older lady get groceries. Just knowing she is no longer here leaves a big hole. I loved her and will never forget the joy she brought.

Gail has been in my life all through grammer school and high school. We are even cousins. So many things I remember that I can't put all down. The times going to each others house, going to basketball games and tournaments. Our clalss trip to Nashville was such fun. We had such a good time together. In 8th grade, I would give her money to stop at Swaffords Store to buy candy for school. We would sit in Mr. Guffey's class and eat candy all day. Her laugh was contagious, she had a smile for everybody and always would tell you she loved you. Basil and Dorothy will be so happy to have her with them. I will miss you Gail. LOVE YOU! I know she has her own wings now, like the birds she loved so much she can fly. Gail was so loving, open, caring, and friendly. She took care of my African Gray for us when we were away. She joked with me saying Neil thought she would choose those birds over him. Wherever she was there was love. I am shocked, saddened, and will miss her.

Gail loved everybody. From remembering her at the Corner Supply delivering bait, to Keith and I getting married, her being at our wedding and hearing the stories of her being Keith's live-in nanny, to the awesome times at her house for Easter. I know that the first time Molly was at her house, she was showing her the birds and how she could make them talk. She was a trip and was always so glad to see you and make you feel so special. Gail was one of a kind. An honestly fantastic and ever joyful person. She gave me my first job at her feed store back when I was 13 years old. She used to tell me about how handsome I was every time I would see her. She would always make you feel like $10000000. She would always go out of her way to help the children at the church and take them to see movies or go get ice cream. She was one of my favorite people of all time and the world has a hole that will never be filled.
